Once someone goes into a Memory Care Home when they have dementia or Alzheimer’s they rarely return home.
This video is another in our “I Remember When…” series. It tells the story of why my mom made the decision to bring my dad, George Reed, home after nearly 3 years in Memory Care as well as some reactions and some of the concerns we as a family had.

It’s been almost 4 months now and they are doing well.
I was very nervous at first but am now thankful that they will have had this time at home together again before my dad passes away.
Read more about my mom’s bold choice to bring him home that I wrote upon his return in February 2016.
He is now on hospice…
While no one can change the outcome of dementia or Alzheimer’s, with the right support you can change the journey.
